General Summary

This position assists in the direction, completion, and financial outcome of water resources projects. Responsibilities include managing projects from start to finish, covering financial and safety performance, and overseeing overall project execution for water well projects (we provide training!).

Essential Job Accountabilities

  • Perform accurate project revenue and cost forecasting to support the achievement of corporate profitability goals.

  • Partner with Estimating and Project Controls to establish and manage project budgets.

  • Coordinate with Business Development and Operations to effectively allocate resources and maintain project schedules.

  • Participate in bid reviews and bid closings to ensure accuracy, evaluate project feasibility, and support development of bid schedules.

  • Foster a collaborative environment that enables effective communication between Superintendents and Area Managers to drive safe, efficient, and profitable project execution.

  • Maintain proper job controls, including monitoring quantities, costs, revenue, and schedule performance.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, inspectors, and internal stakeholders to support long-term client partnerships.

  • Ensure timely and accurate project reporting to drive performance tracking and continuous improvement.

  • Manage projects to meet or exceed expected profitability margins.

  • Comply with and actively support corporate safety initiatives to maintain a safe work environment.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience ( Construction management, project management, Civil Engineering, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of water well drilling or related industry practices is helpful, but we train.

  • Ability to perform in a high-production, fast-paced environment.

  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership ability.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this role.

  • Regularly required to talk and hear.

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to operate a computer keyboard.

  • Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms.

  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

  • Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

  • Work is performed in both office and field environments, including exposure to outdoor conditions and large construction equipment.

Benefits may vary for positions located outside of the continental United States.

Base Salary Range: 

$62,933.00 - $94,397.00

Pay may vary based upon relevant experience, skills, location, and education among other factors.
