Position Summary...

This role is responsible to improve online product content quality by executing the content roadmap, supporting AI-driven data enrichment, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Promote adoption of content standards, analyze performance metrics, and help automate catalog data processes to drive business results

What you'll do...

  • Drive Content Quality improvement initiatives
    • Help define and execute the content roadmap established by eCommerce leadership
    • Assist to drive cross-functional initiatives to continuously improve online product content
    • Support AI-driven content data enrichment models to enhance product listings, fill data gaps, and standardize product information
    • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and technology teams to ensure regulatory alignment and risk mitigation in data management

  • Promote the adoption of Content Quality Scorecards and Content Style Guides across vendors, sellers, merchants and key account managers
    • Partner with merchants and key account managers to develop internal technical knowledge of Content Quality
    • Manage vendor relationships by educating about the importance of content quality and item maintenance and onboarding within the Walmart ecosystem

  • Conduct analytics, generate Content Quality reports and measure KPIs
    • Analyze and report on content quality score metrics providing vendors and sellers with actionable insights into how their products are performing in the catalog
    • Measure the impact of catalog data health improvements on key business outcomes, such as increased search relevance, improved facet navigation, conversion, etc.

  • Support process optimization and automation initiatives
    • Partner with Product, Data Science & Engineering in the automation of solutions for catalog data cleanup, validation and enrichment utilizing GenAI and machine learning to minimize manual data handling
    • Maintain and update documentation for process changes, SOPs and training materials
    • Define content ranking rules and runs quality checks to ensure ranking rules are properly working

Qualifications:

  • Prior Experience in merchandising or eCommerce an asset
  • Minimum 1 year experience in an analytics role
  • Excellent communication skills; proficiency in KPI analysis and reporting insights to business stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with exceptional attention to detail
