Description: 

As part of the Static Data team, your role is to support the Payments and Receivables processing by managing the static data maintenance in applicable product processors. As part of your role, you will be responsible for efficiently supporting a process where static data maintenance activities are centrally managed for multiple countries within Asia Pacific. You will be established as a subject matter expert for static data setups. You will lead a diverse team catering to a wide business with diverse requirements that spans across Asia countries. You will be responsible for efficiently supporting TTS APAC Feevolution Program for multiple countries within Asia Pacific.

Responsibilities:

  • People Management

Motivate the staffs through constant interaction with the team. Lead by example. Be a team player Encourage cross functional training for staffs to enrich their skill base

  • Client Engagement Model

Ensure team delivers as per Service Level Agreement. Timely and accurately Understand client requirements and implement them correctly. Understand new customer requirements and ensure adequate support to new customer requirements and initiatives Monitor customer satisfaction and service level and drive process changes Provide innovative solutions to clients.

  • Risk and Control

Ensure a strong and robust processing environment with effective controls Establish risk management practice. Maintain a strong culture of risk and controls in the team through various process and check points and ensure that the risks in operations is understood and controlled. Identify means to reduce transaction defects (internal and external) Develop performance metrics to track defects, productivity. Measure, Measure, Measure Ensure clean audit results.

  • Migration and Project management

Efficiently and effectively manage new projects/migrations and ensure smooth cut over with minimized risks – internal and external Develop training database , training materials , trackers for the migration Support training for new staffs. Ensure training and parallel run are well planned and executed Participate in cross functional projects at unit level

  • Revenue and Cost management

Drive innovation projects focused at increasing the operating efficiency of the team- reduce cost and increase customer satisfaction Continuous process improvements and cost improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Experience

  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6-10 years banking experience preferably Cash payments domain - which should include managing a team
  • Preferably working knowledge of  cash operations and processes
  • Degree holder. Post graduate degree would be an added advantage

Key Functional Roles:

Establish and implement a comprehensive process for static data maintenance to be centrally managed for multiple countries. Process elements of static data maintenance should include SLA, static data change request/submission process, communication process, documentation process & controls/review processes. Ensure adequate controls are in place to prevent incorrect static data setups and any potential adverse client impact in transaction processing. Comply with existing Citi policies and operational controls processes. Ensure static data changes are adequately documented/recorded to facilitate traceability to primary static data change request. Manage and ensure Operational readiness of the team. Able to communicate effectively with business partners, senior management and / or regulators in the project and proactively collaborate with partners to ensure deadlines are met. Able to provide strong analytical skills to determine key business/operational needs, identify related risks and formulate effective solutions via available setup functions within product processors. Able to review operational processes, drive process changes to fully realize system capability/potential in order to achieve productivity gains, efficiency and improved service delivery. Ensure high-risk setup changes are adequately tested prior to implantation in production environment.

Qualifications/Competencies required:-

Strong process-oriented mindset – able to establish and execute strong processes. Strong analytical & problem solving skills and ability to identify key risks and issues. Proactive and prepared to take the lead in investigating issues and be accountable for resolution. Responsible, organized, responsive and able to multitask under pressure. Articulate, with strong communication skills both written and spoken. Ability to work in a team environment. Strong business sense and enthusiasm to drive results. Experience with Global Payplus, knowledge of cash payment processing and products, background in operations process management would be advantageous.
