Job Description:

We’re currently searching for Senior IT Project Manager who will be directly reporting to the Manulife Asia IRM Portfolio and Solution Delivery Team. Our group is consisting of highly motivated and experienced professionals and is composed of members located across Asia office locations such as Manila, Chengdu and Hongkong. The Manulife Asia IRM Portfolio and Solution Delivery team prides itself on managing an enterprise risk program (i.e., Path to Green) that recognizes and reduces significant risks so that we can provide our customers with best experience and more secure systems and/or applications.

The role will lead and manage various IRM sustainment deliverables and security projects across Asia Markets, ensuring the compliance of our stakeholders with the IT security standards and other risk controls. The ideal candidate has experience meeting project deadlines in a high pressure, highly visible environment. The role requires the ability to understand internal IT security standards, ready to adapt with the ever-changing requirements of the business and collaborate with teams across the segment to implement solutions within time constraints.

Responsibilities

  • Lead IRM workstreams deliverable within the business function and act as lead for Asia Markets.
  • Provide strong support and technical ownership in the transition of IT security and risk deliverables from build/program model to sustainment model.
  • Coordinate with segment/business leads and manage remediation activities by preparing options and resolution to resolve/remediate the identified risk including impact and target completion.
  • Work with the application team of the segment / business for the detailed planning and execution of IT security and risk workstream deliverables.
  • Provide support to the segment / business delivery lead in updating and communicating with the application teams the KRI requirements.
  • Facilitate any discussion with global team, BUSO, segment/risk owner and application team for the exception and/or remediation of risk or vulnerability in the systems / IT components.
  • Monitor and analyze the information in the weekly report provided by the global including scanned results of compliance monitoring tool .
  • Collect data and follow up individual task owner to provide update to global and segment/business team.
  • Identification process improvement opportunities including but not limited to KRI Reporting process (e.g., reports automation, dashboard, etc.)
  • Creation of Service Request (SR) and Change Request (CR) to implement changes.
  • Chair IT Risk Delivery-related changes during the change management call (e.g., hardening).
  • Conduct research and attend training on common attack routes, new cyber security threats, trends and technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT Security, other related field or any equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years' experience in business analysis and/or project management with exposure in Information Security, Risk Assessment and KRI-driven initiatives.
  • Good understanding in any of the IT security and risk management standards (e.g., as Information Classification and Handling, Operational Security, Cryptographic, Application Security. Identity and Access Management, Logging and Monitoring, Global Disaster Recovery, Multi-Factor Authentication, Active Directory, etc.)
  • Hands on experience in any of the risk/vulnerability scanning tools like CyberArk, Qualys, Devo, Snyk, Lean IX, GRC Archer and/or other similar tools.
  • Prior experience and passion in different spectrums – project management, business analysis and/or cybersecurity.
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with the proven ability to exercise flexibility and judgment.
  • Ability to work on a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask.
