Your role and responsibilities

We are looking for a Field Service Team Leader, Drives Operations at ABB Motion Services. Our service division consists of 150 professionals across the country. Motion Services division has the leading expertise in drives, motors and generators life cycle management.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead and develop drives field service team consisting of highly skilled field service engineers. You will also showcase your ambition by placing customers first and making quality happen. Team Leader will exceed customer expectations with seamless co-operation and collaboration with sales, operations and solutions. The location for the position is Helsinki. This role requires weekly attendance at the Helsinki office.

• Profit and loss responsibilities including revenue and profitability targets
• Responsibility for sustainable and effective planning and organization of work. Ensuring the successful delivery of customer projects on time and to a high standard with together with your team
• People Leadership & Development: Ensuring team is properly organized, staffed and directed Developing talent, reviewing organizational effectiveness, performing competence assessments and continuously upgrading skills across the team
• Driving continuous improvement and development activities for processes and tools
• Contributing to Health, Safety & Environment across the organization

• Knowledge of power electronics, frequency converters, drives systems, motors, and generators
• Self-driven and proactive working approach, with a customer-oriented mindset
• Experience in customer service or other frontline operations
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Open attitude towards new business opportunities
• Fluent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish and English
• B. Sc. or M.Sc. degree in a relevant field
• Qualification as an electrical professional under the Finnish Electrical Safety Act is an advantage
• Knowledge of SAP ERP, Salesforce and Business Online is an advantage
