Job Posting Title: Consultant – Intelligent Automation

Role Summary

Serve as a hands-on developer and consultant for enterprise-grade Robotic Process Automation (RPA) solutions, primarily leveraging Microsoft Power Automate. Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver scalable automation projects, while coaching and mentoring stakeholders on automation best practices, solution design, and continuous improvement. Drive adoption of AI, cognitive services, and agent-based technologies to accelerate digital transformation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Process Analysis & Opportunity Identification

  • Analyze and document “as-is” business processes in partnership with SMEs.

  • Identify automation opportunities using process mining tools (e.g., Celonis) and quantify ROI.

  • Assess process gaps, bottlenecks, and manual workarounds to prioritize automation initiatives.

  • Advise teams on automation potential and guide opportunity assessment.

Solution Development & Delivery

  • Design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions using Microsoft Power Automate.

  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements; create Solution Design Documents (SDDs), Process Design Documents (PDDs), and prototypes/mockups.

  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and data privacy standards in all solution designs.

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate automation functionality, and assist in issue resolution.

Coaching, Mentoring & Best Practices

  • Mentor and coach business users, junior developers, and project teams on automation tools, techniques, and best practices.

  • Establish reusable components, design patterns, and documentation standards for automation workflows.

  • Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement in automation delivery.

  • Lead workshops and training sessions to build automation capability across teams.

Continuous Improvement & Performance Monitoring

  • Implement monitoring dashboards and analytics for automation performance and scalability.

  • Gather feedback post-deployment and recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.

  • Share lessons learned and drive adoption of new technologies (AI, cognitive services, agent-based systems

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience developing and scaling RPA solutions, with deep expertise in Microsoft Power Automate (UiPath experience a plus).

  • Strong business analysis skills: process mapping, requirements documentation, and stakeholder engagement.

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and technical developers.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach, mentor, and enable others in automation delivery.

  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma preferred).

  • Familiarity with process mining platforms (Celonis preferred) and integration with RPA workflows.

  • Understanding of AI/ML services (Azure Cognitive Services, OpenAI) and their application in automation.

  • Experience in establishing best practices, reusable components, and documentation standards.

  • Certifications: Microsoft Power Automate Developer, UiPath Advanced RPA Developer, or equivalent.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree a plus.

  • 10+ years in IT, including 5+ years in RPA/automation development roles.
