Representing iconic brands that have been part of people’s lives for generations, this role provides an exciting opportunity to partner with one of the most critical retail customers in the U.S.—Dollar General. Make a meaningful impact on business performance while representing brands consumers love.

As the Dollar General Sales Operations Leader, you’ll bridge national strategy with localized execution. You’ll work directly with our integrated account team, national resources, regional bottlers, and Dollar General stakeholders to drive operational excellence. Your focus will be on executing flawless programs, optimizing growth, and addressing regional customer needs in a highly competitive retail environment.

We’re seeking a strategic, collaborative leader who’s passionate about our brands and excels at building trust and long-term relationships with Dollar General stakeholders and Coca-Cola partners alike.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead Coca-Cola’s U.S. Sales operations for Dollar General across approximately half of its divisions. Coordinate Coca-Cola system resources, bottlers, and retailer teams to ensure seamless program execution, foster sales growth, and enhance customer satisfaction through strategic initiatives.

  • Operational Expertise: Serve as Coca-Cola’s system expert on Dollar General’s business strategy, systems, and positioning. Ensure cohesive alignment across Coca-Cola, Dollar General teams, and bottler operations.

  • Localized Business Strategy: Develop and execute localized business plans with Dollar General divisional/regional management, Coca-Cola bottlers, and stakeholders to drive volume and profit growth while delivering highly focused execution.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively across departments to support Coca-Cola’s marketing and operational programs, meet budget targets, and grow market relationships.

  • Price/Package Management: Manage price/package plans and performance by aligning with Dollar General’s business goals and customer needs while enhancing Coca-Cola’s competitive position.

  • Communication & Problem-Solving: Act as the primary point of contact for day-to-day operational challenges, providing actionable insights and resolutions to issues between bottlers and Dollar General teams.

  • Growth-Focused Leadership: Analyze sales data to identify growth opportunities, promote innovations, and implement solutions to exceed performance goals.

  • Results-Driven Culture: Foster alignment, motivation, and trust across teams to create a success-oriented environment focused on driving measurable results.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field preferred.

  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in key account or field operations roles, ideally within the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry.

  • Customer Partnership: Proven ability to influence, negotiate, and build strong relationships with large-scale customers, especially in retail.

  • Strategic Acumen: Strong expertise in managing price/package architecture and understanding sales-related performance metrics.

  • Franchise Experience: Previous experience in franchise systems or bottling operations is a plus.

  • Business Development: Demonstrated ability to leverage industry insights to create customer value while driving organizational success.

  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis, decision-making, and crafting persuasive presentations.

  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-motivated, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has a strategic mindset focused on delivering results.

  • Collaboration Skills: Strong communication, relationship-building, and team collaboration skills across diverse stakeholders.

  • Travel: Willingness to travel as necessary to engage Dollar General Operations leaders and bottler partners.

What We Offer

  • Career Growth: Be a key player in driving success for one of Coke’s most impactful customer relationships, while honing leadership, strategic planning, and operations expertise.

  • Iconic Brands: Represent world-class products like Coca-Cola, Simply, Fairlife, and Topo Chico, equipping you with the tools to excel in the market.

  • Dynamic Industry: Gain hands-on experience working within the largest and most dynamic retail channels in consumer goods.

  • Collaborative Team Culture: Work alongside passionate, empowered individuals dedicated to bringing Coca-Cola brands to life at Dollar General.
