Job Description Summary

The Greenville Plant Manager will lead end-to-end plant operations through a period of significant capacity expansion, driving Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Culture (SQDCC) while scaling production capability to meet growing demand. This person will own the operational strategy to balance near term throughput commitments with long-term infrastructure, workforce and process investments through lean transformation. This person will focus on strengthening the culture and leadership across the organization to build a robust talent pipeline. This role will play a key role within the Gas Power Supply Chain organization.

Job Description

As the Plant Manager, you will:

  • Lead daily SQDC performance management through daily management system and the establishment and attainment of plant goals in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost (SQDC)
  • Build workforce capacity and capability in parallel with physical capacity, qualficiations, cross-training and skills development
  • Strategically develop and coach operational leadersto develop talent pipeline for Greenville Operations and broader Global Supply Chain Roles
  • Work with customers, cross-functional leaders, and internal staff to meet production requirements to deliver on-time to our customers and achieve business outcomes
  • Establish site culture and priorities with a clear focus on business execution, effective employee communication & relations, and the embodiment of the GE Vernova Way
  • Influence and drive execution of the Lean roadmap for the facility
  • Ensure strong collaboration with the engineering team to ensure perfect launch of new products (NPI) and processes.
  • Leverage budgeting and regular planning, forecasting and SI&OP rhythms to drive the organization to ensure that scheduling, capacity, and headcount are aligned to ensure plant success,
  • Global mindset to share in best practice, strive to ensure you have captured all read across items
  • Champion talent development across the team, effectively following talent processes and investing in hiring, growth, and succession, including integration of DEI initiatives
  • Promote a working environment that encourages employee involvement to achieve excellence in all aspects of SQDC and compliance

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical discipline
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain with a minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $224,000 and $336,000 USD. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
