THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Assistant Microbiologist (Night Shift + Alternating Schedule: 6:30pm – 7:00am EST) will carry out the approved tests to comply with the department objectives in a laboratory that supports manufacturing. There are samples that will be collected from the manufacturing floor.
Primary responsibilities include:

WEEK 2: Monday: OFF, Tuesday: OFF, Wednesday: 12 hours, Thursday: 12 hours, Friday: OFF, Saturday: OFF, & Sunday: OFF
WEEK 3: Monday: 12 hours, Tuesday: 12 hours, Wednesday: OFF, Thursday: OFF, Friday: 12 hours, Saturday: 12 hours, & Sunday: 12 hours
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma / GED plus 1 year of appropriate college lab studies and 1 year of college mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry or calculus), plus 2 years of laboratory experience)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in science related field with at least 1 year of appropriate college lab studies and 1 year of college mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry or calculus), plus 1 year of related laboratory experience or 2 years’ experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
4 years’ experience in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environment
