Job Title: Senior Data Analyst

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position overview:  The Data Analyst is responsible for the gathering requirements from business partners across the enterprise and delivering reporting solutions to meet those requirements.  The ideal candidate for this position can complete life cycle data generation from source systems, to warehouse and cube structures, ultimately surfacing solutions through various reporting tools.

JOB / DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

• Gather requirements from business partners in domains including but not limited to Finance, Manufacturing, and distributions
• Work with management to develop a prioritized list of needs for each business
• Coordinate development of reporting priorities across business groups
• Perform analysis on data sources to determine how to bring those data into the warehouse
• Develop reports in using appropriate tool sets
• Document requirements and specifications
• Management of the data warehouse and associated artifacts (modelling, cubes, etc.)
• Coordinate development activities to ensure completion of both data and presentation activities

Requirements

Knowledge/Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree

Job Experience:

• Five years of experience in an analyst role
• Five years of experience working with enterprise reporting tools
• Experience working with data transformation tools
• Experience working with cross-functional teams
• Experience performing analysis for data migration activities

Skills/Competencies

• Action oriented self-starter who can drive data projects
• Strong analytical skills with the capability to troubleshoot complex data issues
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple teams, on concurrent projects
• Well organized with excellent communication, influencing, and negotiating skills.
• Experience with SAP S4 is highly desirable

Knowledge of any of the following tool sets is advantageous:  Jet Reports, Microsoft SQL Server (SSRS, SSAS)
