We are seeking a motivated and experienced Delivery Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, facilitating smooth project delivery, team collaboration, and continuous improvement. As a Delivery Manager, you will work closely with multiple teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and effective delivery of initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies, including estimating/sizing, planning, forecasting, reporting, conflict resolution, and facilitation.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Ensure JIRA ticket conformity across all teams for efficient data analysis, resourcing, and initiative tracking.
  • Manage project trackers, Jira dashboards, and Confluence structures, including risk and decision trackers.
  • Track team capacity, sprint velocity, and progress toward sprint goals.
  • Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources while chairing team meetings.
  • Provide status updates regarding milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues, ensuring leadership is well-informed.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and other stakeholders to prioritize work requests, maintain product backlogs, and align delivery timelines.
  • Create and update release plans, including scope, release numbers, and launch dates, in collaboration with Product Owners.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (Business, Delivery, IT) to remove impediments, resolve conflicts, anticipate challenges, identify risks, and recommend mitigations.
  • Provide guidance and coaching on Scrum best practices to teams, Team Leads, and Product Owners.
  • Foster an open environment for communication and problem-solving to encourage collaboration and innovation.
  • Lead retrospectives and promote team bonding to boost team morale and recognition.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements to maximize team output.
  • Develop strong partnerships with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Directors of Development to align business objectives with delivery.
  • Collaborate with other Delivery Managers to share and implement best practices, including Scrum of Scrums.

 

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Agile methodologies with hands-on experience facilitating ceremonies.
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, and Agile tracking tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple teams and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience working with diverse stakeholders across Business, Delivery, and IT.
  • Excellent conflict resolution, communication, and facilitation skills.
  • Strong understanding of release management processes and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification in Scrum (e.g., CSM, PSM) or Agile methodologies.
  • Experience coaching teams to higher Scrum maturity levels.
  • Previous experience in software development or quality assurance is a plus.
