Job Description:

Chief Nursing Officer

Responsible for planning, organizing and directing the overall operations of Nursing/Patient Care Services.
Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards. Maintains performance improvement activities within the department and participates in CQI activities.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES/DEGREES

  • Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing or related health field
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon
  • American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS)

EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of five years’ progressive experience in a similar role in an acute care facility in managing multiple nursing units
