This position is for a productive professional individual contributor in Information Technology, who works independently with minimal supervision. You will be part of a large team across AUS, UK, Canada & US responsible for significant databases & projects related to our PostgreSQL environment. We are offering an emerging and varied role and responsibilities in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.

We will count on you to:

• Have experience installing PostgreSQL on Linux servers.

• Have hands on experience creating PostgreSQL databases and objects.

• Create, update, and drop users and roles.

• Understand PostgreSQL backup and recovery processes.

• Work closely with an offshore team to ensure smooth transition of work handover.

• Demonstrate proficiency in communication and a good level of English.

What you need to have:

• At least 1+ years of PostgreSQL experience.

• Experience planning and executing installation of PostgreSQL server.

• Experience implementing backup and recovery.

• Experience working in a Linux environment.
