Role Definition
Design, optimize, control, and ensure the efficiency, quality, and safety of liquid paint processes, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, environmental regulations, and production standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and optimize liquid paint processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and ensure product quality.
  • Design or improve layouts of paint booths, pretreatment lines, application areas, and curing systems.
  • Control and adjust operating parameters such as viscosity, temperature, atomization pressure, curing times, etc.
  • Supervise proper surface preparation (pretreatment) and coating application procedures.
  • Implement and maintain preventive maintenance plans for painting equipment.
  • Provide technical support to operators, painters, and maintenance personnel.
  • Establish performance indicators (KPIs) such as paint yield, defect rate, and consumption per unit.
  • Coordinate testing of new products, colors, or processes with suppliers and laboratories.
  • Document operational procedures and train personnel on best application practices.

Academic Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • 50% English proficiency required

How to check paint quality (thickness, strength, etc.).

Different types of paint (urethane and epoxy).

Liquid electrostatic painting, pretreatment and cleaning processes based on shot blasting.

Problem-solving and data analysis.

Surface preparation Knowledge

Paint mix and viscosity control

Application process control

Curing and drying process

Coating quality inspection
