Within Citi, the Global Data Security Engineering Team is focusing on designing, developing, testing and architecting Citi’s next generation cyber security and cryptography solutions across the globe.

In this role you will be responsible to research, develop and certify security strategies, products, architectures, and best practices. You will also be responsible to define and influence key security strategy initiatives and deliver security solutions that will adhere to all enterprise security requirements with a potential to influence industry wide roadmaps.

What you will do

  • Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls and for the supported groups.

  • Certifying Hardware Security Modules and Crypto applications within Citi and provide Engineering support.

  • Create automated testing solution, review, and validate results and prioritize actions that resolve issues based on overall risk.

  • Reduce risk by analysing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions

  • Holds the ownership of multiple products and share the knowledge of the product with the teammates and help them to fully understand procedures, best practices, and standards.

What we will need from you

  • 5+ years of experience of experience on technology and information security.

  • Deep knowledge of crypto techniques, algorithms or cloud technologies.

  • Solid skills in scripting languages (VB, Bash, PS, expect).

  • Strong knowledge and experience of PKCS protocols, JCE and CSP/KSP is desirable.

  • Work with and understand regulatory and risk management requirements.

  • Strong security mindset.

  • Any experiences with Hardware Security modules are a plus.

  • Programming skills in most common languages (e.g., C++, Python, golang) is an advantage.

  • Experience in public CSP, deep knowledge of modern CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Terraform, Lightspeed).

  • Ability to define deadlines internally and externally and tracking them in multiple projects.

  • University / College degree in any STEM area or equivalent industry/technology knowledge.

  • Fluent English knowledge.
