We are excited to announce that in partnership with Amphastar, we are currently looking for an Inside Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our team. In this position, you will promote products in the Asthma and Allergy space.

Inside Sales Representative

The Inside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for achieving sales goals and gaining recommendations of promoted products within assigned territory. This is accomplished by establishing mutually beneficial business relationships with influential healthcare providers key to the sales success of the promoted products. The inside sales representative is also responsible for coordinating sales strategies with appropriate teammates to maximize sales in assigned territory.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to communicate and deliver accurate product information, feature/benefits and recommended dosages and usage to Healthcare Professionals by phone.
  • Advanced listening and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to understand and convey complex product-related information in an educated, reassuring, and professional manner while in a real-time environment.
  • Ability to accept and quickly apply coaching and feedback to improve individual performance and customer experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks such as actively listening to our customer’s need while navigating our CRM and consistently providing accurate and complete information on the requested topic.
  • High work ethic, dependable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work.
  • Ability to be flexible as needed to meet the fluctuating business needs.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • 4-year degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience required.
  • Minimum 1 year of inside sales experience preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Successful candidates will demonstrate the following competencies: Action Oriented, Drive for Results, Sales Persuasion, Dedication, Perseverance, Ingenuity, and Adaptability

Preferred Qualifications:

  • All the Required Qualifications, plus:
  • Related experience in the Allergy/Asthma/ OTC space.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and develop an assigned territory with minimal supervision.

The potential base pay range for this role is $30.00-$33.00 per hour. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
