Summary: As an Application Tech Support Practitioner, you will act as the ongoing interface between the client and the system or application. You will be dedicated to quality, using exceptional communication skills to keep our world-class systems running. With your deep product knowledge, you will accurately define client issues and design resolutions. Your typical day will involve providing ongoing support to clients, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the smooth functioning of systems and applications. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing their technical issues and concerns. - Troubleshoot system and application problems, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues and ensure the smooth functioning of systems. - Maintain documentation of support activities, including issue resolution and troubleshooting steps. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to provide proactive support and suggest improvements. - Assist in the design and implementation of system enhancements and upgrades. - Train end-users on system functionalities and best practices. - Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the development of best practices. - Provide timely and accurate updates to clients regarding the status of their technical issues. - Ensure compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs) and deliver exceptional customer service. - Collaborate with vendors and external partners to resolve technical issues and escalate as necessary. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Netapp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration. - Strong understanding of storage area network (SAN) concepts and technologies. - Experience in configuring and managing Netapp storage systems. - Knowledge of storage protocols such as Fibre Channel (FC), iSCSI, and Network File System (NFS). - Experience in troubleshooting storage-related issues and performance optimization. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Netapp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
