The RSM reports to the Service Director being accountable for driving optimized operations, cost management, and hub safety. Overall scope includes supporting a regional team and exemplifying excellence in safety and operations. The RSM partners closely with the Service teams and ensures alignment with GEV operational excellence.

The RSM reports to the Service Director being accountable for driving optimized operations, cost management, and hub safety. Overall scope includes supporting a regional team and exemplifying excellence in safety and operations. The RSM partners closely with the Service teams and ensures alignment with GEV operational excellence.

  • Act as project manager for special operational events
  • Support the Hubs with Customer Management
  • Define and set the path for long term strategy on services model and products in the region
  • Regional productivity programs deployment & identification, work with productivity team to develop new ideas
  • Accountable to ensure execution of Top Issues programs in his/her site/cluster
  • Responsible to own and manage OTR phase implementation/execution from Transactional sales 
  • Region interface with support functions for S&OP process where region inputs are required (Capital parts forecast, etc … )
  • Establish long term resource plans based on resource forecast and region business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training
  • May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions.
  • Leading of cross functional teams to order to reach our productivity & financial targets and drive implementation of global solutions

  • Act as a resource of technical expertise for colleagues with less experience
  • Act as cross sub-regional Resource management to address required execution resources gaps and meet customer and business metrics (resources move (GE or Contractor) cross region, develop)
  • Interface with Hub Leaders on issues escalation
  • Operational interface on non-contractual operations (Repair contracts)
  • Act as backup for Hub Leaders when needed
  • Escalate O&M customer concerns with priority
  • Partner with cross-functional teams like Sales, Commercial Operations, Sourcing, Finance, HR to meet the deliverables.
  • Prioritize turbine performance to meet/exceed performance commitments.
  • Be innovative and engaged in all areas of facility operations aligned with individual site plans to include creative problem solving with LEAN thinking.

  • Team engagement and development

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or technical related field, or significant experience in field service, engineering, or operations & PM in combination with an apprenticeship in business or technical related field
  • Experience in the Services & Resource Management
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
