Job Description 

  • Participation in workshops with client's stakeholders to validate goals, expected inputs & deliverables 
  • Doing requirements gathering, logical models, functional & technical designs 
  • Performing data analysis of business requirements, understanding source data and mapping them to the target/common data model 
  • Defining and implementing reports to visualize insights/KPIs on dashboards, using BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker (Looker Pro) and Quick Suite 
  • Working with data engineers to productionize data pipelines and automate reports generation & distribution 

Qualifications 

  • Previous experience in a similar BI role (5+ years), ideally in a consulting or client-facing role 
  • Strong hands-on experience with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, Looker (Looker Pro) or Quick Suite 
  • Solid proficiency in data warehousing concepts (ETL, Stage/Core layer, Dimensional Modelling, Data Marts etc.) and SQL programming 
  • Experience working with cloud analytical data platforms such as Google BigQuery, Amazon Redshift, Snowflake or Databricks 
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, data-oriented personality 

Preferred Skills 

  • Experience working in cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform 
  • Experience working with SQL databases, such as MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL or MySQL 
  • Business expertise in areas of Digital Marketing (AdTech), Marketing Automation, CRM, e-commerce or Finance is a significant advantage 
  • Understanding of data workflows and ETL processes to support BI modeling, data validation, and KPI definition  
  • General understanding of large-scale data processing concepts (e.g. Spark, Hadoop) to design scalable and performant BI solutions 
  • Proficiency in Python or JavaScript (nice to have) for analytics, automation, or extending BI solutions
