This is a senior leadership role, reporting to the Singapore Chief Compliance Officer. The role primarily focuses on leading a team of compliance officers to support the company's regulatory compliance posture, deepening regulatory engagement strategy and enhancing compliance, conduct and culture awareness across the company.
 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead, oversee and guide a team of compliance officers to support regulatory compliance across the company.
  • Design and implement programs to enhance compliance, conduct and culture awareness across the company through active engagement and close collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain regulatory interactions and develop regulatory strategy to deepen expertise in addressing regulatory matters.
  • Provide senior coverage for regulatory advisory and oversee handling of compliance related issues for incidents and escalations.
  • Represent Singapore Compliance and deputize for the Singapore Chief Compliance Officer as needed. 
     

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 20 years of compliance experience in an international FI, with a strong track record in delivering compliance mandate, building and leading compliance teams
  • In-depth and hands-on experience with regulatory engagement 
  • A strategic, forward-thinking, dynamic, energetic, self-motivating, engaging and hands-on leader with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • A compliance officer who thrives on challenges, is passionate about compliance and interested in making a positive difference.
