What you’ll get to do:
We are looking for you to join our team as a Senior Principal Project Manager based out of Linthicum, MD to support out AMS Engineering & Sciences Business Operations organization. This position is 100% onsite.
This role supports an existing team that oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. The Business Operations organization is responsible for a variety of activities focused on enabling the efficient execution of the AMS E&S organization.
This position will integrate into the business operations organization to provide support to a myriad of activities including preparation of Executive presentations, data compilation and analysis, support to incoming Interns and Pathways, Workforce planning activities, tracking of organizational resources, direct interfacing with support organizations such as Security, IT/IA, HR and TA. The primary focus of this position will focus on AMS E&S activities aligned to Intern/Pathways onboarding and pre-hire activities, facilities support and Workforce metrics. Additional activities as needed to support other members of the team.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of experience, master’s degree with 6 years of experience, Ph.D. with 4 years of experience in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics or related technical fields; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance.
Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and/or accomplishing them simultaneously
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Familiarity with Workload Forecast Tool and its functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
A current/active Secret Clearance or higher
Experience working in a dynamic work environment
