Who You Are:

Galaxy Digital seeks a proactive Systems Engineer to manage and maintain our Linux systems involved in various operations such as staking, mining, custody, and trading. The role requires a mix of technical proficiency and the ability to travel occasionally.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage and oversee Linux server environments to support financial operations.
  • Implement and maintain configuration management using tools like Puppet, Chef, Salt, or Ansible.
  • Develop scripts to automate routine tasks and ensure system efficiency.
  • Ensure systems are secure and up-to-date with the latest security practices.
  • Collaborate with various teams to enhance system functionalities and support business needs.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Extensive experience managing Linux systems in a professional setting.
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools (Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible).
  • Basic scripting skills in languages like Bash, Python, or Perl.
  • Experience with cloud technologies is a plus.
  • Ability to travel as required by the job.
