Location expectations:
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

U.S. Bank is seeking a Technology Strategy Consultant to join a high-impact internal consulting team within the Technology organization. This team partners across the enterprise to support large-scale technology initiatives through analysis, strategic problem solving, and project execution. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment and bring a strong combination of data analysis, stakeholder management, and executive-level communication skills.

This person will serve as an internal consultant responsible for owning and driving a defined workstream within larger technology initiatives. They will lead analysis, develop recommendations, create executive-ready presentations, and partner with stakeholders across the organization to advance strategic priorities. This role requires an individual who can balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution while operating with a high degree of ownership and autonomy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive an end-to-end workstream within a larger technology initiative
  • Lead data analysis and synthesize findings into actionable insights and recommendations
  • Create executive-level presentations and materials that clearly communicate complex information
  • Partner with cross-functional technology teams to gather inputs, align stakeholders, and advance project objectives
  • Develop and manage workstream plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables
  • Support strategic initiatives including technology transformation, infrastructure modernization, and cloud-related programs
  • Drive stakeholder communication, project updates, and change-related messaging
  • Build strong relationships across technology and business teams to enable collaboration and execution
  • Operate independently and proactively identify opportunities to move work forward

Must Have Skills:

  • 3+ Experience owning and managing a workstream within a larger project, program, or transformation initiative
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and develop meaningful recommendations
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating complex concepts through storytelling
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in project-based environments with accountability for deliverables and timelines
  • Demonstrated ability to operate with a high level of ownership, initiative, and autonomy

Nice to Have Skills:

  • Experience within an internal strategy, transformation, or enterprise consulting team
  • Exposure to technology initiatives involving cloud transformation, infrastructure, modernization, or operational improvement
  • Experience balancing strategic planning and execution within the same role
  • Familiarity working in highly matrixed organizations
  • Change management, organizational transformation, or executive communications experience
  • Experience supporting enterprise-wide technology or business transformation programs

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
