Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate Procurement Agent (Level 2) to join our Supply Chain In Service team in Everett, Washington; Seattle, Washington; or Seal Beach, California on first shift.

The Procurement Agent will provide support to external companies and internal organizations through his/her supply chain knowledge. We are looking for qualified candidates with a supply chain background who are ready to manage suppliers throughout the world. As an Operations Procurement Agent, you will manage complex work packages in a fast paced and multifaceted environment. As part of this team you will have the opportunity to work with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver world class products in support of our airline customers and the flying public.

This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. The Statement of Work includes standard Supply Chain Management functions, data analysis, forecasting, supply and/or demand troubleshooting, and additional duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Communicate supplier in service performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance.

  • Manage suppliers to the negotiated contractual documents. 

  • Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management. 

  • Manages supplier readiness for entry into service.

  • Manages repair turnaround time and spares, works with supplier on corrective action plans where needed.

  • Initiates and executes supplier recovery and improvement activities. 

  • Integrates with production procurement team to ensure in service issues are taken into account, for contracting strategies and leverage. 

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals. 

  • Contributes to the improvement of existing processes, including the deployment of strategic supplier management and procurement strategies.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in Supply Chain

  • 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

  • Willing and able to travel both domestically and internationally, as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 2+ years of experience interacting with customers (both internal and external), at all levels, on a one-on-one basis and in group settings

Typical Education/ Experience:

Typically, 3 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:

Summary pay range – Everett and Seattle, Washington:  $68,400 - $83,600

Summary pay range – Seal Beach, California:  $68,400 - $83,600
