As Manager, HR Client Partnering at UQ, you will lead the delivery of high-impact strategic and operational HR services in a senior, client-facing leadership role. As the primary partner to a dedicated client area, you will be responsible for resolving complex people matters, driving service excellence, and translating organisational priorities into practical, compliant HR solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:
Provide strategic and operational HR leadership to a portfolio of clients, acting as a trusted adviser to senior leaders and ensuring the effective delivery of end-to-end HR advice and services.
Scope and address complex workforce, employee relations and organisational development matters, aligning solutions with business unit priorities and the broader University HR strategy.
Ensure HR advice and service delivery is compliant with relevant legislation, enterprise agreements and policy frameworks, while collaborating with specialist teams to deliver seamless, high-quality outcomes.

Postgraduate qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive experience supported by professional training and development.
Demonstrated experience providing senior-level HR advice within complex organisations, with a strong track record of building trusted relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Strong operational HR expertise, including the interpretation and application of HR policies, enterprise agreements, and legislative and compliance frameworks.
Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex and sensitive people matters, delivering practical, strategically aligned solutions that achieve positive outcomes.
Substantial experience leading, mentoring and performance-managing HR professionals, with a focus on capability building and continuous improvement.
Experience working in professional advisory or service delivery environments characterised by complexity, competing priorities and high stakeholder engagement.
The successful candidate may be required to complete a number of pre-employment checks, including right to work in Australia and a criminal check.
