ASM Global the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an excellent and immediate opening for a Part-Time On Call, Event Attendant at the Puerto Rico Convention Center. Person will be responsible for maintaining the overall integrity of the control functions of settlements procedures.

Essential Duties

• Controls and records all settlements issues at the point-of-sale cashiers.
• Plans and monitors event POS requirements
• Prepares and receives change orders.
• Report to Accounting Manager credit card transactions discrepancies
• Establish and maintain positive client relationships.

• Constant reaching, standing, walking and stooping.
• Performing work through repetitive eye/hand coordination.
• Assists the POS with problems that may arise
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have attention to detail.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Must have ability to add, subtract, multiple and divide.
• Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment, managing competing demands, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
• Must have strong interpersonal & organizational skills.
• Must have basic working knowledge of cash register procedures.
• Must be able to pass a background check to include a credit history report and meet corporate minimum requirements.

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or GED
• One year of customer service experience preferred
• One year of cash handling experience preferred

Computer Skills

• Must have strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
• Demonstrated ability to learn new software programs
