Reporting to the Plant Manager at our Milton, PA manufacturing facility, local producer of Chef Boyardee, you will support plant operations by expanding the capabilities of the Conagra Performance System (CPS) and manage improvement in plant performance by identifying opportunities for improvement. You will lead the execution of processes to eliminate losses while developing strategies to improve organizational growth by reducing non-value-added activities and ensuring continuous improvement. Working together with plant leadership, you will lead a plant of 550 hourly and salaried team members in process improvement activities.

How Will You Affect our Business?

  • Work with the corporate Continuous Improvement team to build plant capability in continuous improvement processes.
  • Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in ConAgra Performance System (CPS) best practices and coach teams in giving and receiving feedback, root cause analysis, trade-off analysis, interpersonal communications and external interactions.
  • Lead the plant pillar and platform leads (5S, Safety, Planned Maintenance, Focused Improvement)
  • Promote important CPS concepts everyday through coaching and auditing across the organization.
  • Work with Line Structure leaders to develop leadership capabilities and collaboration across all departments.
  • Achieve business metrics through implementation of CPS plans
  • Lead the execution of cost-saving projects eliminating losses and improving plant performance.

Do You Have What it Takes?

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years plant-based operations experience in food or CPG manufacturing.
  • 5+ years experience in TPM based continuous improvements, lean manufacturing, Six Sigma and related process improvement systems.
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Experience working with production equipment and systems
  • Experience using business analysis to lead project management and implementation.

Compensation: 

Pay Range:$104,000-$152,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
