JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Reporting to the VP, Payment Processing Operations, the Director, Payment Processing Partner Success will lead all payment operational facets of Green Dot’s customer-facing business relationships with our BaaS Partners and their respective programs.  In addition to owning the client relationship, this individual will be responsible for being the directly responsible individual for delivery of operational KPI and KRI metrics with his/her assigned partners.  This is a strategic yet tactical role that works closely with leadership team within the broader Operations ecosystem as well as Banking as a Service (BaaS) line of business to deliver overall strategy, business objectives and assigned key metrics.

Responsibilities

A successful candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, results-oriented environment and be responsible for:

  • Own all business KPI/KRI’s for their portfolio of accounts - delivering and executing a detailed plan for rapid growth and ensuring Management Plan targets are met and exceeded

  • Act as primary operational point of contact with partner execs, defining their requirements, aligning with the relevant stakeholders, and making them delighted with the partnership experience

  • Own the process of creating and delivering metrics and dashboards to drive partner decision-making and ensure funding is secured for key initiatives

  • Operationalize key processes, provide process mapping, update procedures, maintain key metrics and drive efficiencies

  • Focus on and continuously monitor key financial metrics including new customer acquisition, GDV, PV, and transactions growth. Drive resulting initiatives with the appropriate level of urgency.

  • Process and remediate regulatory complaints while providing a detailed response when issues can cover multiples products and features

  • Collaborate with Operations Readiness and Development team to evaluate timelines and remediation action plans

  • Implement additional controls on manual processes to prevent risk and losses

  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • At least 12 years in a comparable role in the payments industry.

  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex business relationships.

  • Strong financial acumen with ability to achieve revenue and profit growth across a wide range of products and services.

  • Team player that thrives within white-space, demonstrated ability to deliver in challenging situations where problem or resolution is ambiguous

  • Strong negotiation, leadership qualities and communication skills with an ability to influence others.

  • Ability to think strategically about partnership across multiple business units (marketing, network partners, product, brand, etc.).

  • Hands-on and collaborative style and a bias to action which is focused on bottom line results.

  • Ability to serve as an internal thought leader, working closely with the Executive Leadership and their cross-functional direct reports to maximize business opportunities.

  • Deep Understanding of payment processing with ability to review transactions through processing core to identify possible issues or challenges

PAY RANGE

The targeted base salary for this position is $124,800 to $190,700 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate’s geographical location.
