Job Title - Director Network Engineer
The Purpose of This Role
The Network Triage and Troubleshooting Team takes care of Network Operations day to day activities and ensuring stability of various components of Fidelity’s Enterprise Infrastructure within the Data Center and Network Services. As Director Network Engineer in the DCNS team will be primarily responsible for second level Operations support for our customers by troubleshooting and mitigation of incident tickets including: DNS, Application Traffic Management, Proxy Firewalls, Routers and Switches, Security Protection, and WAN/LAN connectivity.

To be a successful candidate, you will need to have a strong understanding of network infrastructure. You will also need to be able to implement, administer, and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, WAPs, firewalls, Load balancers and Proxies. A deep knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols is highly desired. The Principal Network Engineer in the DCNS-NTT team will be responsible for addressing incident tickets and providing resolution in a timely manner. In this role, the engineer works in collaboration with teams to:
Provide reliable and stable infrastructure via standards, best practices, simplified support models, automated processes, operational excellence and outstanding customer satisfaction.
Address incident tickets and provide resolution in a timely manner.
Conduct periodic knowledge transfer sessions and Documentation.
Secure the environment through tactical change management.
Work in a cross-organizational fashion to consult and enable network services.
Meets the needs of the business community in disciplined approach towards ITSM methodologies ensuring the delivery of information technology services.
Work closely with all EI divisions to ensure 24x7 availability DCNS services.
Support the environment in an on-call rotation.
Have the flexibility to work varying shifts.
The Skills that are Key to this role
Technical / Behavioral
Lead Network Design process, Implementation and manage existing Network and Automate to increase Engineering efficiency.
In Depth Knowledge and working experience Routing Protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VRF, VPNs.
· Managing Escalation and Troubleshoot critical issues as needed
Experience with HPE, Cisco routing switching and Multi-Vendor Environment.
Collaborate and Work with Various Technical Teams to design best and Secure Network.
In Depth knowledge and working experience on Protocols: PVST, RPVST, VXLAN, BGP EVPN, QOS
In Depth Knowledge of Wireshark packet captures
In Depth Knowledge and working experience of various Network Authentication protocols.
Very Strong Communication and presentation skills.
Documentation of complex technologies and topologies
· Automation skills such as Python and Ansible
· should be well-versed with all aspects of project management such as team building, staff training and scheduling.
· Design and implement Multi Cloud service provider network.

· Experience with Amazon AWS
· Microsoft Azure
· Experience with ExpressRoute configuration and setup (Azure private, Azure public, Microsoft peering)
· CCIE Certification
