Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Completes intake assessments with patients referred to the CONNECT Program and others referred for psychotherapy services in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CAP) for outpatient adolescent behavioral healthcare.
Provides screening and psychoeducation.
Triages patients into the appropriate program, provider, or provides referral to off campus providers.
Schedules psychotherapy and psychiatry services for patients as indicated.
Manages patient scheduling services to include collecting demographics and insurance registration.
Maintains accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR).
Provides follow-up communication as needed.
Tracks programmatic data and prepares outcome reports.
Attends team meetings and participates in training sessions as assigned.
Builds relationships with on-campus colleagues and community partners to ensure collaborative continuity for start of care.
Familiarity with community resources in Greater St. Louis Metropolitan Area.
Provides referrals to community services as needed.
Utilizes effective crisis intervention skills in high-stress situations.
Problem-solves effectively by assessing situations, gathering information, and recommending actionable solutions.
