SUMMARY
Q2 is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to work on online banking web and mobile software. This role involves testing complex applications, contributing to automation and manual test strategy, and collaborating with developers, business analysts, and project managers. You will help improve product quality and efficiency in an Agile, CI/CD environment while participating in team-level quality initiatives.

Must have -- API Automation using Python Requests module.

Good to have - UI Automation using Playwright.

RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand project goals and deliverables. • Execute automated and manual test cases, document defects, and provide diagnostic information. • Create, manage, execute, and maintain automation scripts. • Author, review, and critique unit tests and other test scripts. • Maintain test environments and automation frameworks. • Explain test outcomes and guide developers on exit criteria. • Participate in Sprint/Release planning sessions and provide test effort estimates. • Focus on product quality throughout the lifecycle. EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field with 2+ years of experience. • Strong automation, test plan, and methodology experience. • Experience testing web-based software (front-end and back-end). • Familiarity with Python, SQL, Selenium, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab), and version control (GitLab, Bitbucket). • Strong test case management, debugging, and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and teamwork in small, highly collaborative teams. • Experience with SaaS, RESTful APIs, and Agile processes is a plus.

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
