Personal System Category Director

Description -

The person leads the country Category team for both Commercial and Consumer businesses. She/he is responsible of driving end to end plans to develop HP position on PC market in the country. She/he owns a significant number of measurable functional, operational and strategic goals and priorities. She/he assumes responsibility for the successful implementation of business plans in a defined area of responsibility. He/she contributes to the overall strategy with strong business acumen.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leads the country Category team for Personal Systems business both Commercial and Consumer.
  • Defines Go to Market strategies, goals and priorities.
  • Has full Accountability on country P&L and market share achievement.
  • Develops short and mid-term plans to achieve market growth, revenue and operating profit goals.
  • Develops and leads cross-functional teams to support daily execution of marketing, operational and financial activities.
  • Develops strategy with field sales teams, sales management and other key category stakeholders on programs and product positioning to win business.

Education and Experience Required:

  • University degree, advanced degree or MBA preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of PC market both B2B and B2C.
  • 10+ years in the IT industry with strong track of records on Business Unit Manager Roles and preferably Sales Manager Roles for PC.
  • Software and Solutions market knowledge preferred.
  • Demonstrated successful experience in team Management.
  • P&L management experience in highly competitive environment.

  • Ability to understand high level picture and detailed information.
