The Victim Advocate provides immediate and ongoing support to patients, visitors, and Cleveland Clinic employees who are victims of crime by delivering crisis intervention, emotional support, education, and referrals across medical and legal systems, while collaborating with internal and external partners and maintaining required documentation and reporting.
This role requires flexibility to respond across multiple Cleveland Clinic locations and community settings and is a critical position within the Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being (CWPVP-CWB), which prioritizes caregiver safety by consolidating proactive prevention and reactive response efforts into a dedicated center that fosters collaboration, ensures efficient use of resources, provides structure and accountability across all hospitals, enhances prevention and response to workplace violence events, and supports caregivers in their recovery following such incidents.
A caregiver in this position works a hybrid schedule from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Must have the ability to travel to multiple CCF locations.
