Role Definition
Provides technical expertise necessary for the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing solutions specific to manufacturing operations. This role bridges the gap between technology and manufacturing processes, leveraging data-driven insights to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and maximize productivity.

Responsibilities
1. Lead Digital manufacturing solutions for managing product and process data including  BOP/BOM 
    definition , engineering changes, mfg specific parts, work authoring and technology solutions for 
    streamlining information flow in manufacturing. 
2. Deploy, validate, support, train, troubleshoot, manage configurations, and knowledge management 
    of MES systems. Monitor system performance, address technical issues, and implement 
     necessary upgrades or modifications
3. Establish standards, evaluate, and integrate devices, gauges through the factory OT network to the 
     MES for automated data capture. Integration of the MES system with other business systems, to 
    facilitate efficient data exchange.
4. Responsible for analyzing and optimizing SAP capabilities .
5. Coordinate with process partners to enable real time information flow
6. Providing direct supervision, coaching and development for operations technical staff and support 
    areas


Required qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/ equivalent 
· Minimum of 5 years of related experience 
· Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment 
• Proficiency in manufacturing PLM, SAP and MES
• Basic understanding of automated systems like PLC programming, IIOT, vision systems, and their integration into assembly lines
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Ability to work with a diverse group of process partners

•    Participates in the development of organizational policies and practices.

Core Application Systems: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.

Problem Management Process - MFG: Knowledge of manufacturing problem management processes, methodologies and techniques; ability to use a disciplined approach to bringing that problem to a successful resolution.
 Level Extensive Experience: 
•    Evaluates alternative approaches to resolving a customer problem.
•    Receives, clarifies, and resolves a variety of standard and atypical problems.
•    Implements the processes and activities for handling unusual problems.
•    Advises others on the process and associated costs for different types of problems.
•    Monitors and improves problem reporting, tracking, escalation, and resolution.
•    Participates in trend and root cause analysis to identify and address recurring problems.
