Summary:
Directs the planning, development, implementation, administration, and budgeting of most or all of the following human resource functions: compensation, benefits, employment, employee relations, equal employment opportunity, affirmative action, organizational development, HRIS, training, health and safety services programs and company’s diversity and inclusion initiatives. Advises company management in personnel policy and program matters, making or recommending appropriate decisions as consistent with strategic direction. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.Duties & Responsibilities:
This is the most senior HR leader in the country, functioning as a vital strategic advisor to the local leadership team, bridging the gap between HR strategy and core business objectives to drive organizational success.
This role requires extensive experience in an HR generalist or specialist capacity, with a strong focus on strategic alignment & leadership coaching, workforce planning & retention, and change management. Responsible for aligning local HR strategies with business objectives, regional directives, and global requirements.
The incumbent will lead and mentor a local HR team while operating within a matrixed international organization, ensuring high-performance, compliance and a strong company culture across the Pan-India operations.
