What will you contribute?

We are seeking a strategic, execution-focused Chief of Staff and Head of Operations to partner directly with the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer and the Global Risk Management leadership team. This high-impact role is ideal for a dynamic professional who thrives in fast-paced environments, excels at driving clarity and alignment, and brings a sharp strategic lens to complex challenges.

Responsibilities & Deliverables:

1. Executive Governance & Reporting

  • Lead preparation and execution of key risk and compliance governance forums (e.g., EROC, ARC, Board meetings).
  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials, tracking of decisions, and follow-through on action items.
  • Maintain a clear view of business performance and strategic progress for executive stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with key senior stakeholders across the organization to foster a culture of proactive risk management and governance

2. Strategic Planning & Execution

  • Provide strategic counsel to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer on business performance, organizational priorities, and operational needs
  • Partner with Global Risk Management leadership to define, prioritize, and drive execution of strategic initiatives.
  • Represent Global Risk Management in enterprise-wide strategic programs and transformation efforts.
  • Monitor progress against strategic goals and escalate risks or blockers as needed.

3. Culture & Communications

  • Support internal communications and messaging from the CRCO to the broader Global Risk Management organization.
  • Develop and implement enterprise risk and compliance awareness and communications strategy.
  • Partner closely with key senior stakeholders across the company to foster a culture of proactive risk management and governance
  • Ensure effective communication flow between the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer and senior leaders across the organization.

4. Special Projects & Operational Initiatives

  • Work across the organization to develop and drive forward a cohesive AI strategy and roadmap for Global Risk management
  • Lead or support high-impact, cross-functional projects involving program management, data analysis, or operational improvements.
  • Act as a problem-solver and connector across teams to accelerate decision-making and execution.

5. Team Enablement & Liaison

  • Serve as a key liaison between the CRCO and the broader Global Risk Management team.
  • Ensure alignment on goals, track progress on key initiatives, and surface emerging issues or opportunities.
  • Own the rhythm of the business, including planning and facilitation of leadership meetings (e.g., Weekly Leadership, Offsites, Townhalls).
  • Drive clarity of purpose, alignment on priorities, and effective follow-up across the leadership team.
  • Prioritize and triage issues, ensuring the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer’s focus remains on high impact activities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, Technology, and other stakeholders to support planning and execution of key programs.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
     

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Background: Proven experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Transformation, or Chief of Staff roles within complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Industry: Experience in financial services, enterprise software, or similarly regulated industries is highly desirable.
  • Skills:
    • Risk management knowledge and experience, relevant certifications preferred
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders.
    • Experience with executive-level governance, reporting, and strategic communications
    • Advanced degree (e.g. MBA, JD) preferred
