Summary:
As the Team Leader for Microsoft Teams, candidate will play a pivotal role in leading a team of associates and junior resources tasked with managing and optimizing Microsoft Teams platform, with a specific focus on integrating enterprise voice capabilities. candidate will provide technical leadership and guidance to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of Microsoft Teams across organizations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Assist in the design, implementation, and administration of Microsoft Teams, including configuration of channels, chat, meetings, and collaboration features.
• Support the integration of enterprise voice capabilities into Microsoft Teams, including configuration of Direct Routing, calling plans, voice routing policies, and emergency services.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure optimal uptime and performance of Microsoft Teams services.
• Assist in implementing and managing security measures, such as data loss prevention (DLP), to safeguard sensitive information shared within Microsoft Teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to Microsoft Teams administration and usage.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new features of Microsoft Teams to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, including responding to inquiries and resolving issues related to Microsoft Teams.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to Microsoft Teams administration.
Professional & Technical Skills:
• 8-9 years of experience in managing and administering Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of enterprise voice concepts and technologies, including Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), VoIP, and PSTN connectivity.
• Experience with configuring Direct Routing, calling plans, voice routing policies, and emergency services in Microsoft Teams.
• Administration and configuration of Microsoft Teams, including channels, chat, meetings, and collaboration features.
• Support the onboarding and offboarding of users within Microsoft Teams, including managing user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
• Implementation and configuration of Microsoft Teams governance policies, compliance features, and security controls.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support to end-users, including resolving escalated issues and troubleshooting technical problems.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Microsoft Teams with other systems and applications, such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and third-party collaboration tools.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and new features of Microsoft Teams, evaluating their potential impact and contributing ideas for optimization.
• Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance knowledge and skills related to Microsoft Teams administration and collaboration technologies.
• Development and maintenance of documentation, policies, and procedures related to Microsoft Teams administration and usage.
Additional Information:
• The candidate should have a minimum of 8-9 years of experience in managing and administering Microsoft Teams in an enterprise environment.
• May need to work based on local time of the clients.
