BOUT THE ROLE 

We are looking for a candidate who is passion about performance engineering. The role is a day-to-day run engineering role that is designed to contribute to the resilience, performance and availability of CAT A systems within Enterprise Technology: Fraud Technology for the benefit of NAB’s customers. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Execution of SRE squad user requirements on a per iteration basis in line with the NAB SRE hierarchy of reliability 

• Design and execute the development, testing, deployment and refinement of system improvements in line with service and project priorities 

• Analyse performance test results to identify system bottlenecks. 

• Capacity planning – analyse usage patterns and help predict future resource needs. 

• Work cross-functionally with Devops and Development teams to manage and support containerized environments for performance testing. 

• Assist with NAB security requirements for CAST, SCA, CST. 

• Collaborate and participate in deployments. 

• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorized representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time. 

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 

Essential capabilities 

• Strong understanding of system architecture (Web, API, microservices, kafka, MQ) 

• Knowledge of performance metrics and resource monitoring (CPU, memory, I/O) 

• More than 1 year of working experience with AWS particularly EC2, ECS, EKS, Database 

• Experience in microservice architectures involving API Gateways 

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines preferably using a tech stack of GIT, AWS, Jenkins, Artifactory and Docker, harness 

• Experience with environment monitoring and dashboarding tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics 

• Experience with Azure and/or Kubernetes highly desirable but not essential 

• Good at English communication and an attitude to learn and grow and collaborate and a team player. 

• More than 1 year of experience in gatling scripting. 

Qualification Requirements 

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related technical field of study that involves programming, or equivalent practical experience
