Responsibilities 

  • Process Client Subscriptions and Manage Fund Closing Processes: Coordinate and manage the subscription and fund closing process. This includes maintaining client profiles within subscription generation platforms, tracking client subscriptions, filling out subscription documents, collecting signatures, and coordinating fund closing details with fund sponsors, custodians, and local offices. 

  • Process and Oversee Capital Calls and Distributions: Collect and maintain projected flows data for alternative investments. Process and oversee capital calls and distributions. This includes coordinating with trading teams, advisors, CSAs, and custodians, as applicable. 

  • Process Transfers and Account Updates: Handle investment entity transfer requests and account updates. 

  • Collaborate with Reporting Teams: Work in conjunction with reporting functions to ensure the smooth flow of information between fund sponsors/administrators and reporting teams. 

  • Tax Reporting: Assist with the tracking and collecting of all tax-related documents for alternative fund investments. 

  • Contribute to Standardization: Assist with the standardization of alternative investment operations within your region and across Corient as a whole.

Qualifications & Requirements 

  • BA/BS degree, or equivalent combination of education and work experience. 

  • 1-3 years experience in investor relations, client service administration, or fund administration 

  • Proficient in the following technology: Salesforce (CRM), Portfolio Accounting Software, DocuSign, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Sharefile 

  • Financial services industry experience preferred 

  • Ability to work with others and take direction from multiple sources 

  • Strong understanding of investment and CRM data 

  • Analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills  

  • Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing  

  • Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and consistency  

  • High standards of professionalism and confidentiality  

  • Awareness of security and compliance protocols and client data security  

  • Key interactions will include the following stakeholders: Client Service team, technology team, leadership, wealth advisors, finance team, compliance team, and external vendors

Pay Information 

This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of California. The pay range for this position is $69,550-90,000 per year. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be offered a salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. 

Physical Requirements

  • This position requires the physical capabilities to work in an office environment, which may include prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Corient seeks to make reasonable accommodations that enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties when possible.

  • This position may require the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

  • This position is required to work onsite 4 days per week.

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
