C.H. Robinson is looking to add a Senior Collections Representative to our team. In this role, you will work with high-volume customers and offices to resolve complex issues and collect on escalated aging invoices. You will serve as an invaluable resource, providing guidance and support to team members with less experience. This is an exceptional opportunity to not only build strong relationships with assigned customers and C.H. Robinson offices, but also to showcase your critical thinking skills in resolving challenging collections issues. 

 

Responsibilities:  

  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with customers 

  • Utilize advanced skills and expertise in various processes, procedures, and systems to recover aging invoices 

  • Analyze data to identify and solve complex problems 

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance efficiencies and achieve targeted results 

  • Contribute ideas for process improvement based on identified themes and a comprehensive understanding of the bigger picture 

  • Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring timely and professional service 

  • Continuously develop skills, expand collections knowledge, and build business acumen 

  • Support in the training and mentoring of team members in best practices and strategies 

  • Coordinate and oversee the completion of all accounts and assigned responsibilities 

  • Assist with special projects and ad-hoc assignments as directed 

Required Qualifications:  

  • High School Diploma or GED 

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable, or related finance roles 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Effective and flexible communication skills 

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills 

  • Demonstrated critical thinking abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment 

  • Proactive approach and persistent work ethic

Compensation Range

$16.11 - $33.46
