Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Fresh Graduate – Emirati National Only who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic.  The position is based in Abu Dhabi – UAE.

Accountabilities of the role to be performed  

• Follow up with suppliers on delivery schedules and confirmations.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with procurement policies.
• Communicate with suppliers for basic inquiries such as quotations, lead times, and order confirmations.
• Support in maintaining up-to-date supplier records and databases.
• Maintain procurement records, pricing databases, and contract files.
• Assist in generating reports (e.g., spend analysis, delivery performance).
• Ensure procurement activities align with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Help with documentation required for audits and internal reviews.
• Support evaluation of supplier submissions under guidance.
• Liaise with internal teams like engineering, finance, and logistics to understand requirements and support procurement activities.
• Help track and follow up on internal approvals.
• Identify and suggest areas for improvement in procurement processes.
• Stay informed on industry trends.
