Summary: As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for utilizing your expertise in PeopleSoft PeopleTools to develop efficient and effective solutions. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business requirements, designing application components, and implementing and testing software solutions. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement of application development processes and best practices. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems. - Design and develop application components using PeopleSoft PeopleTools. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. - Create technical design documents and specifications. - Implement and test software solutions, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices. - Troubleshoot and debug application issues, providing timely resolutions. - Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. - Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to PeopleSoft PeopleTools. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of application development practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PeopleSoft PeopleTools. - Strong understanding of relational databases and SQL. - Experience in developing and customizing PeopleSoft applications. - Knowledge of PeopleSoft application architecture and components. - Experience with PeopleSoft PeopleCode, Application Engine, and Component Interface. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker. - Familiarity with PeopleSoft Fluid User Interface. - Experience with PeopleSoft Security Administration. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in PeopleSoft PeopleTools. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A BE or BTech Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline is required.
