The ideal candidate would be compassionate towards our patients, clients, and Marshfield Animal Hospital team. We are looking for someone with at least one of experience but are willing to train the right candidate. A positive and motivating attitude is a must. The ideal candidate would be confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, monitoring surgery patients, surgical recovery, drawing blood and running bloodwork, placing IV catheters, knowledge of x-ray and proper positioning, experience with in-clinic laboratory equipment, comfortable with proper animal handling and restraint, understand the importance of client education and is a positive and supportive team player. We are a busy 6 doctor, Fear Free Certified hospital with a dedicated support team of technicians and receptionists. One year of previous experience is required. • 1+ years of prior veterinary experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Positive team player willing to continue to learn
• Saturdays are a rotating shift 8 am-1 pm every other Saturday
• Must be able to work different shifts, day, night, and some Saturday morning
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Able to handle a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of care
