We are seeking a highly strategic Supply Planning Process Transformation profile to drive the modernization and optimization of our client’s global supply planning processes. This role will focus on identifying and implementing transformation opportunities across key areas including process automation, standardization and optimization. You will collaborate closely with supply planners, demand planners, IT, data analytics, and cross-functional teams to enhance planning process performance, reduce manual effort, and increase agility and resilience in operations. This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical know-how, and strong cross-functional collaboration to drive insights and improvement.
What are we looking for? • 10–14 years of experience in supply chain transformation, with a focus on the CPG industry • Hands-on expertise or exposure to O9 platform or Kinaxis and SAP planning platforms • Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in supply planning processes • Familiarity with automation tools and platforms (e.g., RPA, Python, SQL, Automation Anywhere, Power Automate) • Strong understanding of key supply chain domains such as Supply Planning, Demand planning, inventory management and S&OP • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills • Experience in project or program management (PMP certification is a plus) • Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification • Experience with advanced analytics, modeling, or machine learning is a plus • Proficiency in SQL, VBA, Excel, Python, and Power BI • Knowledge of advanced analytics and automation approaches • Exposure to agent-based or AI-driven solutions in supply chain
Roles and Responsibilities: • Assess and analyze current supply planning processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities • Work with Tech team to develop and deploy automation of repetitive and manual planning tasks (e.g., RPA, AI-based workflows) • Process Standardization across regions, business units, or product lines • Process Optimization to streamline workflows and reduce planning cycle times • Partner with analytics teams to enable data-driven decisions (e.g., predictive analytics, scenario planning, inventory optimization models) • Collaborate with IT and Data Analytics Teams to ensure data integrity, tool integration, and proper governance across planning platforms • Define and Monitor KPIs to measure success of transformation initiatives (e.g., forecast accuracy, planning cycle time, planner productivity) • Champion Change Management by engaging key stakeholders, facilitating training, and ensuring adoption of new processes and tools • Bring subject matter expertise to support or lead the improvements in planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, o9, Kinaxis, Anaplan) as needed • Identify process transformation opportunities by process deep dives and value stream mapping • Prepare transformation roadmap, project charters and manage the transformation projects end to end • Translate business needs into technical specifications, acting as a strategic problem solver • Present actionable insights to stakeholders, leading discussions for continuous improvement • Engage directly with clients, delivering high-impact transformation projects for optimized operations
