Senior Manager, Business Development - Walmart Business Membership & Marketing
Our team is seeking a Senior Manager, Membership & Marketing, to help lead our efforts to develop our membership value proposition, oversee member experience and drive membership marketing activity. This includes developing and promoting partnerships, benefits and offers that are valuable to Business to Business (B2B), non-profit and institutional buyers. The individual will be customer-centric and focused on translating the needs of different organizational customer segments into new member benefits and partnership offers that enable us to acquire and retain satisfied members. This involves building and testing new foundational partnerships, new member benefits and new limited time offers while also working cross functionally to support current customer and member needs. Importantly, this individual will coordinate with colleagues throughout Walmart to unlock new B2B opportunities, ideate on net new B2B opportunities, build relationships with partners, develop new customer and membership benefits and offers, quantify and articulate value to customers and members of new benefits and offers, execute new partnerships and evaluate success based on pre-determined success metrics. This role will work at the strategic level (understanding target customer needs, leveraging customer behavioral & transactional data etc.) and at the operational level (launching and optimizing new member benefits, influencing marketing outreach efforts to execute membership marketing strategy).
This role will work cross-functionally with Site Merchandising, UX/Design, Product Management, Engineering, Walmart+, CRM, Brand Management, Performance Marketing, Data & Analytics and Customer/Member Insights, Finance, Strategy and others within our Marketing team to translate strategy into commercial wins and accelerate Walmart Business toward the team’s aggressive long range growth plan. You will ensure that customers and members are at the forefront while mobilizing existing capabilities and championing new functionality to serve B2B and non-profit customers and members to generate short-term wins. This role will lead identifying new offer opportunities, doing diligence on differentiation and value to institutional customers and members, building business cases to present to leadership, and quickly executing commercial agreements to test and learn new offers with customers and members.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
