The Associate Director, CyberSecurity Strategy Advancement is responsible for advancing Humana’s cybersecurity strategy through executive and board level engagement and organizational change management. This role ensures Humana’s cyber strategy is clearly communicated to senior leadership and the Board while being effectively implemented, adopted, and sustained across the organization.

The Associate Director, Cybersecurity Strategy Advancement works with EIP Department leaders to design and develop strategic goals, objectives, and initiatives that improve EIP program operations, talent, and associated delivery of technical tools and solutions. Provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address security-related business issues and opportunities. Drives a security-centric culture by applying organizational change management strategies to enable adoption of Cybersecurity strategic priorities and focusing on the people side of change – guiding adoption of changes to processes, systems and technologies. Decisions are typically related to identifying and resolving complex technical and operational problems within department(s) and could lead multiple managers or highly specialized professional associates.
 

Required

  • 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, strategy, executive communications, or related fields.

  • Strong understanding of organizational change management

  • Demonstrated experience developing board and executive level cybersecurity reporting in large and complex organizations.

  • Exceptional executive communication skills.

  • Proven ability to translate technical and risk-based concepts into clear business and risk language.

  • Experience working directly with senior executives and Boards or Board committees.

Preferred

  • Prior experience in regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, insurance).

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 27001) and risk quantification approaches.

  • Consulting or advisory background with strong executive presence.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


 

$172,300 - $236,900 per year


 

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
