We’re hiring a Senior Consultant – Cyber Security for Safety (CSS). If you secure this role, you’ll lead high-profile programmes, influence assurance strategy, and grow as a trusted authority at the intersection of cyber security and safety.

What You’ll Do 

  • Lead delivery of CSS artefacts aligned to DO-326A, ED-202A, ED-203A 

  • Conduct threat analysis, risk assessments, and define security architectures 

  • Integrate cyber security into safety-critical assurance (DO-178C, DO-254, IEC 61508) 

  • Support system and safety assessments (ARP4754A, ARP4761) 

  • Engage clients, shape solutions, and influence programme outcomes 

  • Scope and cost work, support bids and proposals 

  • Mentor junior consultants and grow capability 

 

We’re Looking for Someone With 

  • Practitioner-level experience in DO-326A (and DO-356A/DO-355) 

  • Understanding of  cyber security artefacts in safety-critical environments 

  • Strong knowledge of safety-critical software standards 

  • Familiarity with ARP4754A, ARP4761, DefStan 00-970/55/56 

  • Understanding of wider cyber frameworks (ISO 27001/27005, NIST SP 800-53/160) 

  • Consultancy experience including scoping, costing, and proposal support 

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills
