We are seeking a Global Logistics Manager to lead the company’s Global Transportation Spend Visibility Program and drive process improvements across the logistics organization. This role combines operational ownership of freight audit and payment processes with strategic leadership of global process improvement initiatives.

You will manage international teams, oversee the global freight payment provider, and ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient logistics financial operations. Additionally, you will lead the design, approval, and rollout of standardized logistics processes across all regions.

This job is based in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. We provide a flexible working schedule with the option of working hybrid.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

Spend Visibility Program Leadership

  • Own Copeland’s Global Transportation Spend Visibility Program
  • Lead the team responsible for auditing and processing all global freight invoices
  • Oversee the month‑end close process for logistics spend, ensuring accurate accounting and alignment with Finance
  • Maintain up‑to‑date requirements and processes with Copeland’s freight payment provider
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal requirements, and industry best practices
  • Manage the relationship with the freight payment provider, including performance measurement and continuous improvement

Process Improvement Leadership

  • Review, investigate, and approve global logistics processes, identifying opportunities for simplification and efficiency
  • Recommend and implement improvements that streamline work across the entire logistics organization
  • Lead process‑related projects, balancing functionality, efficiency, and the voice of the customer
  • Facilitate global rollout of new or improved processes, ensuring they are practical and effective for each region
  • Ensure global compliance with both existing and newly implemented processes

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and develop international teams (Philippines, Romania), providing structure, coaching, and clear performance expectations
  • Motivate and guide both internal and external teams toward shared goals
  • Work cross‑functionally with Logistics, Finance, Procurement, and Corporate leadership to align on process and operational improvements

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, project management, or finance
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams across multiple locations
  • Strong understanding of transportation contractual language and cost structures
  • Proven project management skills: prioritization, delegation, execution, and results orientation
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategy into operational improvements
  • Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills, with the ability to align diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience with freight audit and payment providers
  • Exposure to global logistics operations and multi‑region environments
  • Experience supporting vendor transitions or system implementations
  • Strong leadership potential, including candidates stepping into a larger management role
