Intel Foundry Automation - Data Analytics and Process Group is seeking a motivated and technically curious intern to join our Manufacturing Automation team for a minimum of 6-months engagement. This role offers hands-on experience in delivering AI/ML solutions driving factory operations improvement and industrial innovation. About the Role: As an AI/ML Manufacturing Automation Intern, you will work directly with our automation development team to support the development, deployment, and documentation of automation and artificial intelligence solutions in manufacturing environments. This is an excellent opportunity to gain real-world experience in industrial AI applications while contributing to meaningful projects that impact production efficiency and quality.

Qualifications:

Solution Delivery Support:
Assist in the development and testing of AI/ML models for manufacturing processes;
Support data collection, preprocessing, and analysis
Participate in solution integration and deployment activities;
Technical Support:
Help troubleshoot and resolve issues with deployed AI/ML solutions;
Monitor system performance and assist with optimization efforts;
Support user training and knowledge transfer activities
Assist with system maintenance and updates;
Documentation and Communication:
Create and maintain technical documentation for AI/ML solutions;
Develop user guides, process documentation, and training materials;
Assist in preparing project reports and presentations
Document best practices and lessons learned;
Required Qualifications:
Candidates should hold or currently in progress to complete a bachelor's degree in computer science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
Technical Skills:
Programming experience in Python, R, or similar languages;
Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and algorithms;
Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools
Knowledge of databases and data management principles;
Understanding of software development lifecycle
Soft Skills;
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with manufacturing processes or industrial automation;
Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn);
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Experience with version control systems (Git);
Understanding of statistical analysis and data mining techniques;
Duration and Commitment:
Minimum 6-month commitment required
