JOB PROFILE SUMMARY:

Stanley Access Technologies seeks a self-motivated, results-driven team player to fill a Material Handler position to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for tracking and storing both inbound material and material going out to the production floor. Your role will be crucial in ensuring efficient inventory management and smooth operations within the warehouse and production areas.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and inspect incoming materials, ensuring accuracy and quality of products.
  • Properly store and organize materials in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including item descriptions, quantities, and locations.
  • Perform regular inventory counts to reconcile physical stock with the system records.
  • Identify and report any discrepancies or issues with inventory levels or quality.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as purchasing and production, to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Prepare and package materials for shipment to the production floor, following established procedures.
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate reordering of materials when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to optimize space utilization and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Utilize inventory control software and systems to accurately track and manage inventory.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and maintain a high standard of warehouse cleanliness and organization.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Experience in material/inventory control or related field, preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate tasks, report issues, and provide updates on progress.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and systems.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that may arise. This includes identifying and resolving technical problems, suggesting improvements, and working collaboratively with team members to find solutions.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (if required).
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity; ability to use fingers and hands to feel, handle, or squeeze; reach with hands and arms; twist/turn body; perform repetitive motions.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to move/lift up to 75+ pounds, utilizing team lifting or tools to move assembled door components when needed.
  • Adaptable and able to adjust to new processes, technologies, or production requirements.
